PBS on Vietnam, how the propaganda distortions triumph

[Editor’s note: If you wonder how Americans could learn our history without realizing that the “founding fathers” were slave owners, that through much of the 19th century the US was genociding Native Americans, or how Southerhers to this day could believe that the South was fighiting a “noble”cause in the Civil War and its generals deserving honor need only watch how as the memory of the Vietnam war fades and those of us who got fired from their jobs, lost their careers, beaten and jailed for opposing it (including me) begin to die off the meaning and reality of that...

The Way Ahead: Introduction and Part 1

The Way Ahead: Introduction Contributors to catholica cover a wide spectrum of beliefs. Some do not believe in a God of any kind. Humanity never committed any Original Sin.

Humanity never committed any Original Sin.   Humans are not ‘born with Original sin’ on their souls.   Jesus did not come to ‘free’ us from Original sin. If he had, why is the church still teaching that people must be baptized to ‘be freed from Original sin’ if Jesus died to save us from this sin.   The Jewish people did not believe in Original sin [personal sin—yes—-but not Original sin]. And Jesus growing up as a devout Jew would not have believed in Original sin, either.   John’s baptism was for people to renounce their personal sins —and to prepare those...

I take no credit for the research. However if even only small parts of this is true… : Decide for yourselves 1) Trump owes Blackstone/ Bayrock group $560 million dollars (one of his largest debtors and the primary reason he won’t reveal his tax returns) 2) Blackstone is owned wholly by Russian billionaires, who owe their position to Putin and have made billions from their work with the Russian government. 3) Other companies that have borrowed from Blackstone have claimed that owing money to them is like owing to the Russian mob and while you owe them, they own you for many favors. 4) The...
